PHOTOGRAPHY LOCATION FEES
Location fees are extra charges, not included in the photography contract, that are associated with the specific outdoor location available for shooting. All the fees are to be paid by the client, and shall be listed in the contract as an additional expense not included in the amount due for the selected package
VIZCAYA MUSEUM AND GARDENS
Vizcaya is a beautiful location right by the sea, with wonderful gardens, colonial / neoclassical structures and a romantic and turn-of-the-century ambiance to satisfy even the most demanding of clients.
Photography Fee: $250.00 to $750.00, depending on time of day.
Specs: Open Wednesday through Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No advance scheduling needed, but recommended.
Number of people allowed: 5, including the photographer, MUA and assistant(s) $25.00 shall be paid for every additional person.
Advantages: Allows both Beach and Outdoors together. Wide variety of scenarios. Beautiful and expansive garden.
Disadvantages: Almost everybody uses it. Touristic location with several interruptions and visitor traffic.
ANCIENT SPANISH MONASTERY
The Spanish Monastery is a more secluded location, brought stone by stone from Spain during the Colonial times. It has an amazingly preserved medieval architecture and breathtaking views of vaulted-ceilings corridors and doors, along with great gardening expansion.
Photography Fee: $350.00 for 3 hours, with a changing room provided.
Specs: Open Monday thru Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Sundays from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Call ahead of time to schedule session.
Number of people allowed: No more than 3, including photographer.
Advantages: Beautiful Outdoor Landscaping with authentic medieval buildings. Lots of natural environments. Less used than Vizcaya. Allows Indoors and Outdoors Photography
Disadvantages: Public place with lots of visitor traffic. No Beach. Active religious site makes it unavailable at certain religious holidays and times.
SECRET GARDENS MIAMI
The Secret Gardens is the perfect setting for photo shoots of all kinds. With lush vegetation, waterfalls and ponds with colorful fish, and numerous other sets it’s one of the top photography location in South Florida.
Photography Fee: $255.00 for 3 hours and $75.00 for every extra hour.
Specs: Not open to the public. Schedule at least 2 months in advance. Reservation includes access to the entire property, a private air-conditioned dressing room, and sitting areas for guests.
Number of people allowed: Non-specified.
Advantages: Great variation of Outdoor Photography Options. 2.5 acres of gardens and natural scenes, including waterfalls, arches, lagoons and statuary. Private location with no public transit or interruptions. Offers prop rental options for additional fees, such as antique cars, canoes, swings and live animals.
Disadvantages: Does not offer Indoor Photography or Beach Photography Options.
THE CRUZ BUILDING
The most amazing venue in South Florida, The Cruz Building offers New Orleans/European architecture, hand painted ceilings, sculpted brass and marble staircases, iron balconies, carved mahogany and stained glass bars.
Photography Fee: $895.00 for 3 hours on weekdays, and $1,095.00 on weekends. $200.00 per additional hour.
Specs: Open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Appointment Only. Call to schedule at least two weeks prior to the set day.
Number of people allowed: Non-specified
Advantages: Breathtaking vintage, 19th-20th century luxury architecture setting. Brilliant colors, rich mahoganies and high ceilings, with marble floor. No other people allowed during your session.
Disadvantages: Not many Outdoor Photography Options. Does not offer Park or Beach Photography Options.
VILLA TURQUEZA
Great location with multitude of sceneries both natural and man-made, including a pond, natural walkways, wooden decks and a Greek-inspired Corinthian colonnade, among others.
Photography Fee: Call for a quote.
Specs: Open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Call to schedule at least two weeks prior to the set day.
Number of people allowed: Non-specified.
Advantages: Great variation of Outdoor Photography Options, with multitude of sets and props included. Private location with minimum public transit or interruptions. Offers prop rental options for additional fees, such as metal carriages, canoes, swings and live animals.
Disadvantages: Does not offer Indoor Photography or Beach Photography Options.
HISTORIC WALTON HOUSE
Historic Walton House is a beautiful outdoor venue that has been featured in national magazines such as Martha Steward, People and Brides. It features a charming cottage and house circa 1919, and its own exotic animals exhibit, plus extensive natural spaces, including swan ponds, glades, gazebos, tiki huts and more.
Photography Fee: Call for a quote.
Specs: None available.
Number of people allowed: None specified.
Advantages: Both Outdoors and Indoors photography available. Wide variety of natural scenes, including lagoons, pagodas, pools and forested areas. Non-profit zoo with a variety of exotic fauna to add to a unique setting. Flexible scheduling and timing. Less used than other venues.
Disadvantages: Does not offer Beach Photography Options. No landscaped gardens.
PINECREST GARDENS
Pinecrest Gardens is a natural reserve of plants in the middle of the Pinecrest community. It has a great variety of different natural settings with plants of different parts of the world, including a Swan Lake and some booths and gazebos spread throughout the park, giving it a romantic quality perfect for your photos.
Photography Fee: $100.00 USD plus tax.
Specs: Open 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. No advance scheduling needed
Number of people allowed: 7, including photographer and client. Any additional person must pay $5 each.
Advantages: Wide variety of natural scenes. Different types of set up all in one place.
Disadvantages: Does not offer Indoor or Beach Photography Options. Public place with several possible interruptions.
